Making the main page of Shop with Uncode is simple, and you have two different methods. You can choose to make it using the default options of Uncode, or it's possible to decide to make a completely custom layout. This second option requires more steps and the knowledge of some advanced Uncode features, but you allow all creatives and creators to have practically no limits in the choice of layout. Before starting, there are some steps to follow common to all WordPress installations that use the popular WooCommerce plugin to build their shop.
Set up the main WooCommerce shop page
In WooCommerce you must declare your 'shop' page which will be used to display your recent products. To define your page you first need to create a page, for example, 'Shop' (if you haven’t done so yet), then go to WooCommerce → Settings then click on the Products tab then on the Display sub-tab where you will find the dropdown option with the page selection, screenshot .
Important Note. Please note that when you set a page as the main page of WooCommerce, this page becomes part of the WordPress template hierarchy, and any content you have entered will not be displayed. When you set this option, WooCommerce uses this page only as URL, and you have to adjust the layout using the Theme Options → Products, using the simple default layout or creating a more complex custom layout with the Content Block method.
Default shop layout
At this point, you can use the options in Theme Options → Products → Header or Content to adjust the default shop layout to your needs, screenshot .
Custom shop layout
If your design requires a more advanced layout, you can use the Posts module and the dynamic options to build any custom layout thanks to the Content Block method.
Since this method does not differ from how you can create your blog's main page or the main page of your portfolio, we refer you to read the information in the dedicated documentation:
