To keep the ThemeForest Marketplace always up-to-date Envato has established that by March 2019 all the themes will have to be compliant with a very detailed list of new WordPress Theme Requirements. Unfortunately, this implies the need for authors to make some changes to the code base of their products.
Due to these requirements, some features that were included in Uncode have been moved to Uncode Core. The consequence is that part of the translations strings that were in Uncode are moved now in Uncode Core and must be translated using the template included in that directory. Fixing this is pretty easy with the free Poedit application.
Before start please copy to your desktop the old .po file you need to update (e.g. es_ES.po). Rename it to uncode-es_ES.po. Duplicate it and rename the copy to uncode-core-es_ES.po.
Please also copy on your desktop the file that is in wp-content/plugins/uncode-core/langauges/uncode-core.pot and the file that is in wp-content/themes/uncode/languages/uncode.pot.
Uncode
- Open uncode-es_ES.po with Poedit;
- From the menu select Catalogue → Update from POT File..., screenshot ;
- Select uncode.pot;
- Save;
- Poedit will also automatically create the uncode-es_ES.mo file;
- Upload uncode-es_ES.po and uncode-es_ES.mo to your server (in wp-content/languages/themes/ (create folders if they don't exist), screenshot .
Uncode Core
- Open uncode-core-es_ES.po with Poedit;
- From the menu select Catalogue → Update from POT File..., screenshot ;
- Select uncode-core.pot;
- Save;
- Poedit will also automatically create the uncode-core-es_ES.mo file;
- Upload uncode-core-es_ES.po and uncode-core-es_ES.mo to your server (in wp-content/languages/plugins/ (create folders if they don't exist), screenshot .
