If you apply WPBakery Page Builder Custom settings within a Content Block (such as creating row and column borders), please note that these Custom settings can be transferred to the final page only if this page is a regular page, post, portfolio or single product layout. They cannot be applied to archives or category pages.

Unfortunately, it's a limitation of VC applied to the unique Content Block. The only method is the creation of a custom CSS code to be inserted in the Theme Options or in the Custom CSS of the final page.
