    Uncode 2.9.1.3

    Polylang

    Please note that Uncode is officially certified for use with WPML and Weglot. However, a potential issue may arise because an improvement made for WPML has inadvertently caused a conflict with Polylang, which is not officially supported. If you're experiencing issues with Polylang, please update the following files with the patched versions:

    YITH Wishlist

    If you have an issue with the YITH Wishlist plugin not appearing in Posts module, the problem is related to a recent update of the new version of the plugin, to fix please update these files with the patched versions:

    Dynamic Text in Content Block

    If you have an issue where you do not have the Dynamic Text of a Content Block, please update this file with the patched version:

    Fatal Error "TO_apply_order_filter" or issue with Ajax Filters ordering

    If you encounter a fatal error on your WordPress installation, it may be related to the latest version of the 'Category and Taxonomy Terms Order' plugin (version 1.84), released on September 4, 2024. To solve the problem, you can update to the new version published on September 5, 2024 (version 1.85).

    Also related to the new version of the 'Category and Taxonomy Terms Order' plugin, other users on different server configurations have experienced problems with the order of the categories with Ajax Filters.

    To resolve this issue, you can either disable the 'Category and Taxonomy Terms Order' plugin or update the affected file with the patched versions:

    • wp-content/themes/uncode/vc_templates/uncode_ajax_filter.php

    Broken logo and images with WordPress 5.3

    WordPress 5.3 implements some changes to native functions, one of these functions, used by Uncode, returns false instead of an array of dimensions, in certain conditions, causing an error in the calculation of the image path. If you have a problem with the logo after upgrading to WordPress 5.3, please replace this file with the patched version. Note that this fix is only for Uncode 2.2.2, otherwise, please update the theme to the recent Uncode 2.2.3:

    If you experience a double hook issue when you apply custom WooCommerce hooks, please replace the file "uncode/woocommerce/content-product.php" with this patched version. This fix will be part of the next update.

    WooCommerce MyAccount display issue

    To fix the display problems of the WooCommerce My Account page, please download this zip and update the respective files of your installation with the ones contained in the folders. This fix will be part of the next update.

    Page freezed on resize with Animated Headings

    If you experience page freezed on resize when you use the the Animated Headings effects please replace the file "uncode/library/js/init.js" with the new version you can download here. This fix will be part of the next update.

    If you experience blurred ASYNC Adaptive Images with WP Rocket and WooCommerce please replace the file "uncode/core/inc/adaptive-images.php" with the new version you can download here. This fix will be part of the next update.

    Notice: Undefined index: LS_AutoUpdate

    If you have a notice "Notice: Undefined index: LS_AutoUpdate on line 238" please replace the file "uncode/core/plugins_activation/init.php" with the new version you can download here. Otherwise you can simple turn the WordPress debug mode to false. This fix will be part of the next update.

    1. Uncode Privacy missing translations

    If you have problems translating the Uncode Privacy Plugin strings please download this file, unzip and upload to the Uncode Privacy Plugin main root. Once uploaded please run the Theme and plugin localization (screenshot). Then it's possible to select the strings in the relative domains: use 'uncode-privacy' for the static strings (screenshot) and 'admin_texts_uncode_privacy_consent_types' for the dynamic strings (screenshot).

    The translations will be part of next update, we are sorry for any inconveniences.

    1. Video backgrounds after Chrome update

    In the latest Chrome update there were big changes regarding autoplay videos and privacy settings. From this update Chrome browser expects to have explicit declared a mute option, otherwise for privacy restrictions the autoplay video will be stopped. Please kindly check this official announcement from Google:

    • Self-hosted background videos: To fix this problem please open the file "uncode/core/inc/helpers.php" and about line 138 add the attribute muted like this reference;
    • YouTube background videos: To fix this problem please open the file "uncode/library/js/init.js" and about line 362 add the property 'mute': 1 like this reference (insert a comma in the line above).
    • Vimeo background videos: If you experience this problem with Vimeo you need to update to Uncode 1.8.1.1, this problem is not related to Chrome but to Vimeo recent API changes.

    1. ASYNC Adaptive Images stretched (not respecting ratio)

    If you experience a problem with streatched (not respecting ratio) images in some scenarios with ASYNC Adaptive Images please replace the file "uncode/code/inc/helpers.php" with the new version you can download here (unzip the file before upload). We are sorry for this problem caused by an improvement in security.

    Unfortunately this problem occurs with the new version of Chrome 63.0.3239.84. By the moment there are no problems with all other browsers, it's probably a temporary problem with this Chrome update. Alternatively, we'll insert this fix in the next update.

    1. Problem with Tabs module History (URL change)

    If you experience a problem with the Tabs module History (URL change) please download this file, unzip it and replace the same file (vc_tabs.php) inside the folder "uncode/vc_templates/...".

    2. Duplicated Author tab with new CPT

    If you experience duplicated "Author" tab in Theme Options when you create a possible new Custom Post Type please download this file, unzip and replace the same file (theme-options.php) inside the folder "uncode/core/theme-options/assets/theme-mode/...".

    Uncode 1.5.1

    1. Media Gallery iLightbox filtering issue

    If you experience that once you have filtered a Media Gallery items in iLightbox are not correct (not properly filtered) please replace the files "uncode/libraries/js/app.js" and "uncode/libraries/js/min/app.min.js" with the new updated version you can download in this patch.

    2. "Burger Menu" animation on Safari browsers

    If you experience that your "Burger Menu" (Overlay Style, OffCanvas Style and Mobile Menu) doesn't animate nicely on new versions of Safari browsers please copy this code and paste in your Theme Options > CSS. You can remove the code on next official theme update.

    3. One Page Scrolling active menu links with absolute URLs

    If you experience that your One Page menu items are not highlighted correctly when you use absolute URLs links please download this patch and update the file "uncode/core/inc/style-skins.css.php" with this new version. Then save your Theme Options in order to regenerate your dynamic stylesheets.

    1. Possible extra padding with Content Block VC

    If you experience an extra padding in your Content Blocks VC inside the page contents please replace the file "uncode/vc_templates/vc_column.php" with this patch, screenshot.

    2. Possible error caused by old PHP versions

    A few users have reported an error after the update "Can’t use method return value in write context in ".../wp-content/themes/uncode/core/inc/admin-pages/notifications.php on line 25". If you have this problem is caused by the fact that your host is offering you an out of date version of PHP, probably PHP 5.4 or earlier. We remind that from the last WordPress 4.7 update the officially suggested PHP version is PHP 7, so you should ask your host to update for free the PHP version for you, you can find more infos here.

    Anyway to fix the problem please download this patch and just replace the file functions.php at the root of your installation, screenshot.

    1. WooCommerce 3.0 patch

    The new WooCommerce version 3.0 will be released on April 4th 2017, this is an important WooCommerce update that fixes some important bugs of the precedent WooCommerce releases. Unfortunately this update includes lots code modifications which make themes no more compatible. If you have installed WooCommerce 3.0 you also need to include a few fixes in Uncode 1.4.2. These fixes will be included in the next Uncode update planned to be released next weeks.

    If you have updated WooCommerce to version 3.0 please download this folder, extract the package, open your FTP with a dedicated software (FileZilla, Transmit, etc): WooCommerce 3.0 Uncode Patch.

    a) Replace the file "uncode/core/inc/style-skins.css.php", view;

    b) Replace the file "uncode/library/css/style.css", view;

    c) Replace the file "uncode/library/css/woocommerce.css", view;

    d) Replace the file "uncode/partials/elements.php", view;

    e) Replace the folder "uncode/woocommerce/", view;

    When you have replaced these files, save your Theme Options and delete your browser cache to test. If you have any problems related we are happy to help you, please open a support request.

    2. Color dropdown on Visual Composer admin doesn't work

    a) Download the "Uncode Core" plugin update here https://www.dropbox.com/s/s7hr236hztqkqu8/uncode-core.zip?dl=0

    b) Replace the plugin using the section 'Install plugin via FTP' here https://support.undsgn.com/hc/en-us/articles/213454589

    c) Empty all your cache (browser, eventual plugins, Cloudflare, etc…) and if the problem persist try using the browser Incognito mode to check if the problem is solved.

    3. Single page carousel, media not found

    a) Download and unzip the file "elements.php" here https://www.dropbox.com/s/hcewdfgcfit7qq9/elements.php.zip?dl=0

    b) Replace the file via FTP here 'uncode/partials/elements.php'

    4. WooCommerce single page broken when share deactivated

    a) Download and unzip the file "share.php" here https://www.dropbox.com/s/jxlm8nkqaxuxli2/share.php.zip?dl=0

    b) Replace the file via FTP here 'uncode/woocommerce/single-product/share.php'

    5. Media items loosing saved options (Team Members also)

    a) Download and unzip the file "admin.php" here https://www.dropbox.com/s/g562soxvh83h13z/admin.php.zip?dl=0

    b) Replace the file via FTP here 'uncode/core/inc/admin.php'
