If you want to use animated GIFs in WordPress, you may discover the animated GIF has become a static GIF. This happens because of the WordPress resizing mechanism. For each picture you upload, WordPress creates several copies in different sizes.
The problem with animated GIFs is, WordPress won’t resize the animated GIFs but it will take only the first frame of the file to create the resized versions. In few words, servers are not able to crop animated Gif so in Uncode, when you try to set the ratio option or crop a Gif image, we by-pass these options so your animation will continue to work as expected.
We invite you to upload your animated GIFs with the final design ratio and not use any cropping options.
