If you need to install Google Fonts on your server, please follow these simple steps. The only requirement is that you have installed the pre-packed Uncode Child Theme (you find it inside the main download folder from Theme Forest, more info):
- Access the Google WebFonts Helper (a convenient tool that helps you create a web version of your favorite Google Fonts). Select a font and the required options you need (Select charsets, Select styles and Browsers support). In the option "Customize folder prefix" insert "fonts/", screenshot ;
- Download the font and upload to the child theme's "fonts" folder (if you don't have one, create an empty folder named "fonts"), screenshot ;
- Copy the CSS code from Google WebFonts Helper and paste it in the "style.css" of your Uncode child theme, screenshot ;
- Create a new font inside the Theme Options → Typography → Custom Fonts. In the "Uncode Font" fiel,d select "Manually Entered" and enter the Font Family name as shown in the CSS file, screenshot.
Note: when you install demo contents a few Google Fonts
used in our demo are imported. It's the user's duty choose whether to use
this convenient method or prefer to install the font locally (self-hosted).
If you don't need them please remove from the Uncode Fonts importer,
