With the latest evolution of Uncode, we have introduced the ability to break the traditional rhythm of vertical navigation. Thanks to these new implementations, you can now create breathtaking horizontal scrolling sections that capture attention or design entirely horizontal scrolling design, completely transforming the user's browsing experience.
Please find below example pages from our demo site using these new methods:
How it works
The core of this functionality is the new Sticky Scroll method integrated into the Content Slider module. This feature allows content to move horizontally while the user performs a standard vertical scroll. For a detailed guide on how to activate this mode and configure technical parameters (such as speed and direction), please refer to our dedicated documentation:
Structural considerations
To design an effective horizontal section, it is essential to understand the structural hierarchy of the Page Builder:
- Inner Rows as main container: When using horizontal scrolling, each Inner Row placed inside the Content Slider acts as a single horizontal section or "slide." Remember that because the Content Slider module already resides within a standard Row, you cannot nest additional standard Rows inside the slides.
- Use with Flexbox: If you need to create complex designs or more Columns, the ideal solution is to use the new Flexbox Containers modules. These modules allow for advanced nesting that bypasses traditional grid limits, offering maximum creative freedom within each individual Inner Row.
