Thanks to Uncode and Dynamic Contents options, you can use the Page Builder to create custom templates layouts for your archives or category pages. You can create a blog, a portfolio, or a shop archive that corresponds to your exact needs.

There is no sequence of steps to follow when working with Dynamic Contents. The very concept of Dynamic Contents is to provide the user with a set of options that allows for the highest possible creativity and design customization without the need to modify the code.

Below you can find the necessary steps to realize the main category page for your blog, achieved through a Header, and a Posts area. Please note that here we list the primary steps for creating a working archive or category page. The visual options, that can be applied through the Page Builder, are not described below.

Header

1. Enter the necessary data in the Category Editor for each of your categories (Name, Description and Featured Image). This data are used to create the dynamic header, consisting of a background image (Featured Image), a title (Name) and Subheading (Description), screenshot .
2. Create a new Content Block, and save it with a descriptive name such as 'My Posts Header', screenshot .
3. Insert a Row inside it and, in the settings, insert a placeholder image (which will be used as a fallback), activate the Dynamic Background → Dynamic Image options and select as source 'Featured Image'. At this point, the Featured Image of your category will be used as the header background, screenshot .
4. Insert a Heading module and, in the settings, set the Dynamic Heading → Get the Title option. At this point, your category 'Name' will be used as a dynamic text for the Heading, screenshot . Set the layout options to your liking. Optionally insert another Heading module but in the dynamic option set Dynamic Heading → Get the Excerpt.
5. Navigate to Theme Options → Posts → Header → Type → Content Block and select the Content Block you have created, screenshot .

Content

1. Create a new Content Block, and save it with a descriptive name such as 'My Posts Content', screenshot .
