Uncode version 2.9.0 introduces a new variant for special cursors called ‘Tooltip’. This feature transforms the Special Cursor into a Tooltip that displays the title of the thumbnail, such as titles of Posts, Projects, Products with the Posts module, or the title of media when used with a Media Gallery module.
Activating the Tooltip
To use the Tooltip, follow these simple steps:
- Open the settings of the Posts or Media Gallery module;
- Make sure the Title element is selected in the Element List, screenshot ;
- Navigate to the Extra tab, choose a coloring type for the Special Cursor, and select the Special Cursor Tooltip option, screenshot ;
- Configure the options in the new Tooltip tab according to your needs, screenshot .
Configuring Tooltip Titles
The Tooltip functionality offers flexibility in how titles are displayed and interacted with on different devices:
- Thumbnail Title: Use to display the original Title element. It may be practical to show the original title of the thumbnail only on mobile devices since the hover effect is not available, or you might want to create other configurations, such as always showing the Title with a Custom Tooltip.
- Custom Tooltip Text: If you prefer not to use the default Title, enter custom text for the Tooltip, such as "Read more."
-
Extra Tooltip Class: To further customize the style of the Tooltip, additional classes can be entered. For example,
h2 font-weight-700 font-136269
allows you to apply specific font styling and weight.
This new Tooltip feature enhances user interaction by providing contextual information in a dynamic and visually appealing format, thereby complementing the overall design and usability of your website.
