Uncode 2.9.0 introduces a captivating new feature that allows for multiple image backgrounds in Rows, Inner Rows, Columns, and Inner Columns. This addition enhances web pages by creating a dynamic, visually engaging experience through various presentation methods.
How it works
To use this feature, navigate to the Style tab and select a main Background Media. Once this is done, the new Background Multiple option will become available, revealing a dedicated Backgrounds tab where you can add additional media and select your desired options, screenshot .
Methods
The Multiple Backgrounds feature includes three major methods for transitioning between backgrounds:
- Slideshow: Transition through backgrounds with a soft fade, set according to a timed interval. Configure this to suit your preference, ideally used in headers, screenshot .
- Scroll: Change backgrounds as you scroll through a page. This method calculates when to switch backgrounds to ensure each one is displayed at least once. With the Manual Time option, you can set transitions in pixels, suitable for creative projects, screenshot .
- Mouse Movement: Backgrounds change in response to mouse movement. This method is perfect for interactive banners or clickable elements, screenshot .
Threshold
The Threshold option allows you to set a tolerance threshold to determine when a background change should trigger. For instance, setting the threshold to '0' means the change will start as soon as the element enters the viewport, while '50' will trigger the change when the element is halfway through the viewport.
Notes
- For performance optimization, these background effects are disabled in the Frontend Editor.
- The Slideshow method does not include manual navigation controls since the backgrounds are not considered slide content.
