Registering your product is required to verify your license as outlined in your Envato policy. Registration works through connection to Envato’s servers, which means you’ll need a stable internet connection in order to carry out the process.
If you encounter an issue (for example, ‘hanging’ pages, or you receive a Not Verified error after supplying the correct data), please check the following:
- Deactivate Authentication Required pop-ups. Make sure you don't have any active Authentication Required services for your WordPress installation. This blocks any access to your server without a given username and password, meaning you won’t be able to communicate with Envato's servers. It’s not a WordPress requirement, nor does it compromise your site’s security – although your web host will need to disable this for you, screenshot.
- Disable any firewall services. Please make sure there are no active firewall services on your server or any firewall blocking extensions on your browser. An application firewall controls input, output, and/or access from, to, or by an application or service. It works by monitoring and potentially blocking calls that do not meet the configured policy of the firewall. Not having a firewall doesn’t mean your site is insecure, and your host should be able to remove this service for you. Alternatively, they could also simply whitelist Envato’s servers (api.envato.com) and Undsgn servers (static.undsgn.com).
- Activate the Envato Toolkit plugin. The bundled Envato Toolkit plugin is a required theme component, and must be active to make elements such as the registration form work, and to communicate with Envato servers. Without this, you may find that the registration pages will ‘hang’.
Note: If you’re having product registration problems you can’t resolve, please open a ticket so we can support you. In the meantime, if you’ve already made us aware of the issue, you can continue to work on your website despite not being registered.
